Favorite Go Game Story
While teams are out running around playing The Go Game, we game runners use our Peeping Tom skills and watch with Orwellian eyes from behind the scenes (aka. On our computer). We can see every team's progress as well as their answers to all of the questions. One day, when I was checking through a team's progress, I noticed a bizarre response to one of our regular questions. The team was completing one of the actor missions, which made it even more curious. Why would an actor give out wrong password?
This actress had a great track record. She was always on her game and was clearly reliable and level headed. For her to give a false password was out of character, and in no way made sense. In this particular game, she was the bawling bride. Deeply confused and melancholy about her wedding, she was standing in Union Square, waiting for teams to console her and convince her to go through with the marriage.
Teams were prompted to find the "sad person" and to find out "who did this to her." The team reached the specified street corner and found, much to their amusement, a girl bawling on her cell phone. They approached with snickers on their unknowing faces, and asked if she was okay. Through her sobs, the girl answered that she was so embarrassed to be crying out in public like this. They wrapped her in their arms, as any decent team would do, and asked her if it was guy troubles. Between sniffles, she answered that it was. Thinking they were so close to obtaining the password, they asked what his name was. "Jose," she said, not questioning their motives. As they submitted their answer, the Go Game phone rejected it adamantly. They tried three times to no avail. The follow up question then told them to chase the bride, who at this point, was watching in hysterics from a distance.

SPEND A DAY
Ride bikes over the Golden Gate and then to Sausalito. Eat some lunch there and then take the ferry back over. Maybe stop at Hog Island for some oysters at the Ferry Building and then go to Zeitgeist or Mission Bar for some evening activities.
DREAM GAME LOCATION
