As masters of contortion our timeline is completely flexible and we can always find a window to squeeze in an event. Have your Game in the morning and dovetail the judging into lunch. Or, play in the afternoon and we'll have your group chatting like little school girls over appetizers, drinks, or dessert. Give us a call and we'll glady detail how our yogic-inspired creativity can make your event run like its on rails. The following is a sample timeline for a typical afternoon game:
Introduction 1:00 - 1:20pm
Teams will meet at the starting location, which can be a park in the game zone, your office, a hotel meeting room, or any other location of your choice. Your experienced Go Game runner will introduce the players to the danger facing the company – whether it’s stolen company data or a kidnapped CEO! -and give an overview of the missions as well as a brief explanation on how to use the cell phone and digital camera. He or she will then hand out sweet superhero lunch boxes that contain the gear as well as a map of the game zone and a handy reference sheet on how to use the technology. If desired, your game runner can divide up the teams with a fun ice breaker.
The Spy Game 1:00 - 3:35pm
Once the game begins, each team loads a few sample missions, such as entering a team name and photo, in order to get a feel for the technology. Once they’ve completed this short practice course, teams hit the game zone and complete missions to win as many points as possible in the time allotted. In addition, they’ll be receiving several video missions over the phone starring you or someone from your company. We’ll work with you over the weeks leading up to the game to film these fun shorts. The duration of the game is flexible to accommodate the time needs of the client, but we recommend a game duration of no longer than two hours to keep players full of energy.
Teams Return 3:30 - 4:00pm
After having the time of their lives, players are instructed in the final mission to return to the ending venue. This can be a bar or restaurant within the game zone, a ballroom at your hotel, or a conference room in your office. Players grab refreshments and recount their activities from the game while the Go Game team prepares the photos and videos for display.
The Judging 4:00 - 4:45pm
The judging presentation is the unforgettable and hilarious culmination of the day's events! Our experienced staff quickly set up an interactive slideshow complete with an MC and live sound effects. Everyone gets to see the amusing antics of the other teams and vote in real time for their favorite shots using the cell phones. The results are instantly added to each team’s score from the day, and the judging ends with a dramatic presentation of winners and their fun prizes. It’s an incredibly entertaining shared experience that your company will never forget!
